Post-global governance: new planetary institutions for the climate
What new (or reborn) institutions will humanity need to build over the next ten years to solve our greatest challenges — starting with the climate crisis? Ecological crisis and the politics of the Anthropocene
This workshop, sponsored by the Australasian Political Studies Association, draws together researchers who are at the forefront of attempts to tackle the politics of the Anthropocene. The panels range from broad reflections on the political challenges of recognising obligations to other living beings to examination of the forms and limitations of governance.
